The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
